If you have to use any aftermarket interface for your HVAC controls i would highly recommend against it. However i don't speak from experience w/ the RX. I purchased a dashboard kit for my 08 TSX because it has integrated hvac controls w/ the OEM stereo. long story short the temperature never feels right and its either hypothermia freezing or too hot, the interface is laggy and it looks cheap as hell. I went back to the OEM unit, got a modern bluetooth dongle that can stream music and has an external / microphone for calls, and just attach it to a mount that's on my CD player. I wasted about $600 on dash kits and AV equipment that im trying to sell off when i coulda just spent 100 bucks and been happy.
