Radio (AM) Interference after battery change
Hi guys, this is my first post. Hope I am not violating any rules. lol
I just found this forum out lately and am loving it.
My 2008 RX400h is giving me a headache after the battery (not the hybrid one) was changed. The AM radio station I used to listen to everyday is having serious interference/noise ONLY WHEN I PUT TO "D" mode. It works perfectly if the gear is in P or N. That means I can listen only when I am parking and sitting in the car but not when I am driving !!! I took it to my mechanic and he did some research but no luck of finding out what the cause is. Grounding of the battery is done properly so this is not the cause. Google does not seem to bring me anywhere close. I have a feeling that some kind of noise suppression part may have been tripped and burnt when the battery was changed.
Any comment or idea will be appreciated. Many thanks.

I just bought 2006 RX400h and am having the same problem.
AM interference is terrible, but only when transmission is in D or R.
Google and the forum search brings me to this post.
Anyone have a hunch as to the cause?
TY
