Very well could be a plug(s) that have some miles. How many miles on the plugs? btw the 3mz & 2gr's use cop's hence no plug wires....

My bad on the plug wires was just using a general thought there. It has 180k miles. We got it at 178k amd ik not sure of when plugs were changed.

But like many newer generation car, plugs are stupid difficult. Most engineers need the crap beat out of them. I just hope one day I meet someone that designed all this crap and said hey we are going to make it where it is easier to remove an engine to replace a small part that is going to go bad.

Between working and the weather the time I have had recently is limited on troubleshooting this thing. The more I look into it the more I am leaning towards a cv axle. I do have one boot that is bad. Another thing is when this happens you dont really feel it in the steering wheel.

Edit: Just checked and the inner boot on the passenger side is broke into at the clamp. It at least needs a new boot but if I pull it off I'm gonna replace it all anyways. The passenger axle is only about $90.

Changed out the passenger side cv axle and all seems well. Only time will tell.
