Default Fender liner replace

Was on a roadtrip a few weeks ago, heard a rattle from drivers side. Pulled over and diagnosed parts of the fender liner had come apart (retaining clips were gone). The remaining parts were flapping around...I cut enough of it away with a knife to get me home.
Couple of questions.
1. Is this likely related to the alternator I have replaced a week or so before?
2. Is the the part? https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...PUuivi1y%2FAPU

This looks like one part, but it's definitely at least two. Pics attached of what's left.

Pic appears to be left (driver's side in US), and the alternator is on the right, with no need to mess with the left splash guard to replace, so no worry there. Bad luck is all?

I'm also wondering where your lower belly pan splash shield is though, that may have been removed.

Ok, I am will chalk it up to bad luck....
As far as the other piece, it could be among the pieces I removed to alleviate the rattling. I actually had to stop twice. I wasn't in the mood for a THIRD trip under the car off I10 in Louisiana
