Make sure the RX330 has had regular oil change and air filter changes every 6 month and that the timing belt has been changed every 90-100k miles (sounds like it will be due for its 2nd timing belt change)

Also inspect the steering rack and radiator to see if there is any leaks. You may want to take it to a mechanic for an inspection if you can pay for the inspection cost.

BTW $4500 is a great deal. These RX330 are definitely reliable and well-built and have lasted twice as long (in terms of mileage and age) compared to previous Toyota and Mercury that I've owned.
my 05 ex 330 just died yesterday on way home. Figured fuel pump since it's at 300k but tested it and it's good. No bad relays that I see however I feel like there is a bad ground somewhere lmk your thoughts anything helps

Welcome to CL.....Really best to make your own thread (more ppl will see/read it) vs riding the coattails of another that really has nothing to do w/ the OP, who's thread is 2 yrs old.......

Sorry to hear that. Did you check the codes and fuses?
