Default Coolant loss

Hello, my Lexus RX 330 is loosing coolant - 1/2 liter every 2000 miles. I don't see any leaks on the pavement, or anything wet under body. Can it be the coolant cap? It has 175000 miles on the odometer. Thank you!

Hi friend,
At your mileage it could be the cap or something else.

This is what I use and it finds the leak fast every time.
* Warning- I would check for coolant valley leak first because of your mileage before using this tool because if that's where your leak is the pressure will open it up more and start gushing and you will have to park the car until it is fixed.
PS- My neighbor blew the head gasket & more on his car recently ignoring a leak and I warned him but it now sits parked in overflow parking with dead engine.
That's all I got hopefully others have Ideas.

Thank you for the information! I hope its not very serious problem, so I will replace the cap for now. What worries me is that I don't see any leaks and wet spots. We will see.
