those things suck, Discount Tire said I needed new rims, 2008 rx, wrong, had two tires resealed at another shop, now ok, 30 dollars, aluminum rims leak after age, hot, cold etc.buy a good small air compressor, check them , go from there, steel rims are better, have them on my es for winter, and tires, hold air much better, no stupid sensors.
Your more then likely mean ''chrome wheels'' as the plating at where the bead of tire fits needs the chrome plating needs to be scuffed.....Nothing wrong w/ aluminum wheels as many manufactures use them as well as the aftermarket. Matter of fact only 3 vehicles I've had came w/ steels which I replaced w/ Ansen & US mags aftermarket aluminum wheels......You should be checking the tire pressure every so often as well......
