Cracked windshield
the windshield of my 05 RX 330 cracked sometime today. Could the cold have caused this? We’ve had colder days but it reached about 5 this morning.
and, how much can I expect to pay for a replacement?

Do you have insurance that covers your windshield? If so, you might only need to pay the deductible, if any.
If not, you will need to call and price (independent) windshield repair shops in your area -- often times they do the work at dealerships for cars taken to the dealer.

The windshield on my 07 cracked last fall and I took it to an indie repair shop. I used Glass Doctor Rx, which is a franchise so there may be one near you. Did great work, great guarantee. They will fix glass chips and for the first year will replace the windshield for any reason. Cost me $321.
I called a lot of places and the prices were all pretty close.
