I recently acquired a 2007 rx400h with 120k miles. I have come across some issues within the first week.
1. The radiator front panel has a crack and is leaking slowly.
2. There is a motor oil leak from the main seal but the mechanic recommended it be ignored and the oil level be checked as it is a very expensive job and isn’t necessary for some time.
3. The steering wheel is heavy but I haven’t figured out why and it didn’t pop up in the report.
4. The gear shifter continues to be hard even after some wd40.
5. My passenger side mirror was broken so ordered a new one but thats only the glass cut out without the back plate that attaches to the side mirror assembly. Anyone have experience with this, a video link would be helpful.
6. Even though I haven’t used the AC for cooling, I did however have the heat on and the center vents seem to have no blow at all, is this concerning the radiator leak or seperate issue?
7. Need to replace the radiator but was quoted $600 for the job. What air, oil and cabin filters do you guys prefer and whats the best motor oil?

When using the heat on auto, most of the time heat only comes from the foot vents (since heat rises). In the climate menu on the display you can manually select which vents you want to use and over ride the auto setting, and still use the temp buttons to control temperature (fan will still be automatic unless you manually change fan speed on the same menu).
