Tpms sensor bypass problem
I own a 2009 lexus rx 350. Just installed new winter rims and tires. I did not want to install the tpms sensors because they were 75$ a piece plus programming. I checked on various threads on how to bypass the tpms sensor via wiring. Took off the cover under the passenger glove departement. So I went about found the blue box/connector(16 wires) and found the green/red wire and spliced it and connected a single wire I had. My problem is that I am unsure of the blue ground wire, it does not look completely solid. It seems like there is a bit of silver or white on it. Before I cut it and connect it(wire going towards the dash, other wire connected to plug will be deleted) to my wire connected to the red/green wire I want to be sure. It seems like the only one blue wire within the 16 wires on the plug. Any help please. thanks
