I have just gotten a new iPhone and I can't get my 2005 RX330 to recognize it. The last two phones did it automatically but I can't figure out how to delete the old ones and add this new one.
I sincerely apologize if this problem has been covered before but I couldn't find anything. Thanks so very much for any help!
I just had to do this - AGAIN - in wife's RX350, 2011. You go to Settings>Phone>Choose phone>Edit>Delete>Confirm.
Her RX drops her cell every few weeks. It simply forgets it. Then, it takes MANY attempts to get it connected again. With several consecutive car shut down/restart cycles. Then it somehow magically connects. She has iPhone8.
Sure thing. If it does not stick from the first try, turn engine off and then back on. You may end up doing it severla times, like I did. Took me about 20 minutes to re connect phone last time.
ukrkuz is correct if your RX has Navigation.
If not it is a series of verbal commands - press steering wheel talk button and say: setup / phone setup /
list phones (jot down the names you hear) / delete phone (recite names...) / pair phone and then confirm.
She will only pair four (4) devices so you may be currently unable to pair because there is no more slots...
