HI

I am trying to get Rx330 with Breakwater Blue Metallic and gray interior and uniformly I am getting a reply that it does not exist. Does any one have that combination on east coast?

Funny ... in Chicago I tried asking for Breakwater Blue with ivory, and was told they only make them with gray interiors.

 

We are scheduled to take delivery on our Breakwater Blue/Light Gray RX330 on Thursday. I was at the dealer on Saturday, saw it and took it for a test drive. So I can definitely assure you that it is possible, although ours was a special order and took close to 90 days from the date the dealer placed the order. It is possible that none of your dealer's current and near-term allocation come in this combination, but certainly if you are willing to wait you can get it.

P.S. The pre-production model that they displayed at our local 2003 Auto Show in February had this combination, and we thought it looked great so that's what we decided to buy.

 

I have the Breakwater Blue with Black interior. I live in NJ and was told by the dealer that in this region (North East region), they only provide the Breakwater Blue with Black interior. Apparently all of the dealers in a region get together and agree on the various options they will all sell. They limit the number of combinations to keep the number of variations they sell down so they can trade cars more readily.

I was told that you can special order but at least 3 months wait. The BW Blue with Black is fine though because the inside roof and side pillars above the dash are grey so it doesn't look too dark.
