Lexus RX 400h AFS Front Steering Sensor Location
Hi all!
I've read just about every thread here regarding RX AFS sensor trouble shooting and I also have tried them all but I'm suspecting I'm at the wrong sensor.
My 2007 RX 400h has AFS(Adaptive Front light System) that, besides leveling the front lights height depending on the rear level (example due to load in trunk), also senses the car speed and steering angle. It turns the front lights in to the corners when turning steering wheel for better night driving vision.
Now to the big question that I cannot find in any of these AFS threads; where is the STEERING AFS SENSOR located? Others have answered at right rear wheel axle. But I cannot see how this sensor could read the wheels steering position.
Anyone here know exactly if there is a front AFS sensor some where connected to steering and if so where is it?
Please help!
Best regards
Marcus
