Default A Question Many Times Asked but........

My apologies before asking as I'm sure this has been covered but any advise would be much appreciated. I'm new to the hybrid market and coming from a 2003 Honda Jazz. I'm in the market for a family SUV and a colleague at work has suggested I look at purchasing a 400h due to their reliability. I have been scanning the internet and have found a 2008 RX 400h 3.3 SR with 65k mile on the clock. I'm aware that the car is approaching 10 years old and it would be great to know other owners experiences of this age of 400h and older. Many thanks in advance for any advise!

Cool MY 440h experience

My 2008 400h just turned 180,000 this week, replaced the timing belt and water pump today by the dealer. They didn't fail but the bearings in the tension pulleys were chattering so felt it time to do so. Was amiss in not doing it sooner. Only other repair jobs were struts all way around and replaced HID headlight. We drive this to the mountains every month and go up very steep gravel road and it loves it, both wife and I couldn't be happier with our purchase ten years ago. Only complaint is a rattle in the rear that three dealers have been unable to find, other than that, no complaints.
