Default What is your RX350 MPG?

I'm just curious as to what MPG everyone is getting on their 2nd gen RX. I have always hated the color of my RX (Bamboo Green) because it is NOT green, it's a chameleon. But I bought it at night and didn't back out of the deal when daylight hit. So anyway, I've really been toying with the idea of finding another 2009 in blue or tan. But then, I think about the fact that I have always gotten around 22.5 mpg CITY driving. I don't drive on the highway, or rarely, so can't provide you with highway MPG.

What are y'all getting? Supposedly, these RX's are only supposed to get around 17 in the city.

2007 RX350 FWD, 20.6 mpg for the 90K we have owned it, and a current cost of ownership of $0.50 per mile. I keep an Excel spreadsheet on all my cars!

EPA Estimate for our 08 RX350 is 18/23. I actually get around 19.5 City, and 22.5 Highway. Currently has 186k and I'm pretty sure it needs a tune up. That's awesome nwfsnake! I've never heard of someone having an excel document on cost of ownership!? Very organized!

Short trips and stop and go, 14.7. Highway 23.9. Regular traffic, 18.5-19, all on snow tires, so probably lower than most.

Just so we're all on the same page.. even though it might not make a difference. Does everyone use Premium? I've thought about using regular... but it's the first car I've owned that it's recommended 93.

I use premium or ethanol free. People say use regular because this engine in different applications does, but it’s a difference of what, $5 a tank?i

It's pretty hard finding station that sells pure gasoline in the midwest. Most places sell a 10% ethanol gasoline mix. BTW I get about 22-23 mpg highway in my RX330 running on regular.

I get around 21.5-22 mpg in summer, and 17.5 mpg in winter (25% city, and 75% highway/trafic). 24 mpg when 100% highway.

2009 RX350, overall mileage 22.0 MPG, mix of highway and city (suburban) driving. Going to Michelin Premier tires lifted it up by 1MPG. Previous tires were some cheap Chinese tires put on by selling dealer. We use 89 octane, don't care if it has ethanol or not. Only use brand name stations usually Shell.
