RX400H New Shock Needed
Hello All,
Seems very limited. I would love to firm up the 88' Old Cutlus Supreme feel a bit. :-)
1. OEM $$$$
2. KYB - OEM "like" $$
3. Monroe - ? $
Not much on the forums either. Any advise would be apprecieated.

If you want to firm up the ride, oem won't do it, you will have the same thing. Monroe will be pretty similar to oem.
The leaves KYB. I have used KYB on other cars and they definitely will give you a stiffer ride, You will also feel every little bump in the road.

I did the KYB Felt the difference right away. Going over speed bumps, you can tell there's a less of a bounce. I like it.
it does firm up over OEM.. well, OEM @ 100k that is. It was a pain in the butt to change but after product was worth it. Try to change the hats or whatever the top is called. I didn't but wish I did.

Literally, in the same boat as you are, back struts are shot, also feel like I'm in a boat.
Will be going for Monroe struts, the least expensive & available struts here in the Great White North.
Besides, the wife endorsed the "Caddy" similar ride before bouncing all over the place & is willing to contribute some $$ to maintain it.

Have a 2006 330, same issue. you get the quick struts, or just shocks?
I have a shop that will install, I just have to buy them.
Do you have part numbers and where did you buy from.
thanks
