Was looking to purchase an engine air filter for my 2009 RX-350 AWD [117K miles]...does anyone know the model number of one i could purchase...am close to both Walmart and Reily's Auto....dealer charges too much to replace...heard the filter just snaps into a bracket...as i am not mechanical maybe even i can handle this job....thanks.

 

I assume your local Walmart has FRAM air filters, should be CA9360 for the regular filters or TGA9360 for the tough guard version.

 

I purchased the Fram CA9360 as choices are limited on this Island, you should be able to handle the task......
Only 2 10mm Bolts, one directly in front & one hidden down lower in back of the filter housing, you will need an extension.
lift up the right side of the lid enough to slide out the old filter & slide in the new one.

I use only OEM or Denso filters. 10 minutes job.. need a socket to loose 2 rear nuts and the rest are clamps.

 

Anyone used a K+N air filter to put in the box? to improve mpg and maybe performance?
