Default New Owner - Some Questions....

Just bought a 2007 with 60,000 miles on it. Pretty happy with my purchase so far but I have some questions that maybe you guys can help me out with

- Does the RX 350 perform well in the snow? We have a storm in Denver today and my RX slid around some. I am thinking it's the tires but can anyone else give me their experience in snow with this vehicle?

- Has anyone changed out the Nav video display for others? I am considering changing out my nav screen to a Pioneer aftermarket video display. Any advice?

The stock Michelins are super slide happy in the snow. My wife complained about that when we got ours. I started using dedicated winter tires and it transformed the RX. No complaints after that even on some road trips through snowstorms where other cars were sliding off the road ahead of us.

Just had about 4-5" of snow here in Chicago a few weeks ago. My new RX330 AWD performed great. But I do have new Bridgestone all season tires on them. Handled very well except for ice but that's anyone's guess.

Grom has the VLine infotainment setup that uses your stock display and radio but runs android on it. Very cool but very pricey. Something I've been looking into myself. I have experience with aftermarket double din's especially pioneers but they look weird in the Lexus compared to other cars, radio should be where the nav screen is not that low.

The GROM V-Line seems to be pretty buggy, at least from the few places I've seen it discussed. I'm not sure if there has been any updates to fix some of the issues or not. I haven't followed it.

Interesting to hear. I expect this for such a new concept and them being the only company to do it. Shoot, I tried to be one of their beta testers but you needed to be located near San Francisco to do it.
