RX 350 air suspension question
Hi all,
I just bought a nice Lexus RX 350, model 2006. It has air suspension and I keep hearing the air compressor turn on maybe two or three times a day, is that normal? I know the car has some kind of an auto leveling feature so it could be just that but I'm not sure?
Thank's

Does it turn on 2-3 times a day when the car is level and just sitting there?
If it's turning on by itself 2-3 times a day and the car has been in the same spot, one of your shocks might be leaking air slowly.

No, I don't play soccer!
The air suspension in my 330 made that noise and lowered when I turned off the ignition. IIRC self adjustment happened during certain speeds. But I never heard it. Nor did I use the buttons near the shifter and gas door release. If you can, deactivate the air suspension until you can get it checked. Mine had a button underneath the steering wheel located near the TPMS reset. Good luck and keep us posted.

Are you hearing the noise when your are driving? or when your outside of the car.
I'm sure the pump activates frequently when driving, raising and lowering the car. But when your driving, you shouldn't be able to hear the pump. If you can hear that pump working while driving, the pump might be going bad?
