I recently purchased a 2005 Lexus rx330. The slip indicator light will come on occasionally when I am on a road with a lot of curves. The roads have been dry every time this has happened. The car will shake like the car is trying to compensate for loss of traction. Any help will be appreciated.
My Lexus has 125,000 miles on it. The tires are in poor condition and I have recently bought a new set and intend on having them put on this week.
I had the new tires put on and the problem has not occurred since.

I have had similar problems and think that I've found the problem I have a 2004 RX-330 with 225 Km. Had the same problem- slip indicator in curve while accelerating. Key word is accelerating even if slightly. Coast through the curve was no problem. Changed both spin sensors (2WD) with no help as that was the most probable cause . Problem was motor mounts. Suggest replacing all or just 2 of the motor mounts depending on parts and labor costs in your location. The one hydraulic mount near radiator is much more expensive than the others. I changed the scissors mount over the R front wheel and one 90 degrees opposite toward windshield. Have had no problems since. Think the motor oscillations were affecting vehicle tilt sensor causing the slippery/ABS response. Hope this helps. Best vehicle I've ever owned and I've had more than a few. Look forward to keep driving and repairing it for a long time.
