Hey guys,

What do you guys think of the RX330 tailights? Overall I can't really see a difference in terms of the body , just the interior. I do notice the new tail lights. It seems too much of a disco kind of look. Do you guys agree?

 

They're awful. Worst looking feature of the car.

 

i definitely thought they were funny-looking at first (internet pics, etc.). but they are the same clear plastic as the old RX, which i liked, and i think that has really been a defining feature of the RX in general. they have grown on me for the last 3 weeks.

the higher "belt-line" gives the car a unique look, i'm not sure why they decided to make it so high, but on an overall scale and proportion, i think it's well put together, and the lights add a nice touch.

i think the look is great and will grow on others as well. it takes time to get used to (as with the 1st gen RX and the GS series), but as Lexus has proved time and time again, they know how to design and sell cars! (can't say the same for the recent BMW 7 series, slated to be redesigned, again, after only 1 1/2 years, due to weak customer response to the current design)

Although I generally like the new RX, I agree that the rear lamps are a weak point...I really prefer the previous generations design. However, the front end and interior are great on the RX330.
