Default Tire size advice

Hello friends,

I'm a happy owner of a 2008 Lexus RX350 with all the goodies. The only downside is that my model is a FWD but I live in Toronto where roads are plowed often so I don't think that would be a problem...but I am shopping around for winter tires and I found a different tire size and I need your advice.

I currently have P225/60R18 Pirelli P6 All Season tires installed however Lexus recommends the following:

P235/55R18
P225/65R17

I found P235/60R18 and I wanted to know if any of you has tried this size and what are the plus & minuses ? I want to have a comfortable ride. I understand that the odometer will be 1 or 2 mph off.

Thanks for your feedback.

We have an '07 with 235/60-18s I got from Tire Rack, Continentals. Work fine and the speedo is actually a little more accurate than it was with the stock size!

Thanks. I'm assuming that you are still using OEM rims, right ?
