Cloth seats will not be part of any regular shipment of dealer stock. The demand is too slight.
Of course if they make leather seats mandatory in order to get any other options, most people will buy leather. They're not given much of a choice. I know many people besides myself that prefer velour/cloth to leather. Leather is high-maintenance, gets cold in the winter, hot in the summer, and doesn't hold you in place the way cloth does. And yes, I've seen several Lexuses in dealer showrooms with cloth, including the old RX 300 and ES 300. Even early LS 400s before leather became standard equipment.
Unfortunately, the cloth upholstery offered in the RX 330 is nowhere near as nice as the velour that was available in the RX 300. Only one color is available (beige) and it's a rather rough cloth with an odd pattern of dark curved lines going through it.
I've known dealers to swap seats or upholstery between cars when a buyer wanted leather instead of cloth, and I assume they'd do the opposite as well especially since they could now charge more for the cloth donor vehicle.
