Will a tow hitch from a first gen RX fit a second gen RX?

You can use a hitch from the first gen highlander though. They are exactly the same. That is what I got for my RX400h. Saved me a couple hundred dollars. Only paid 250 for a brand new highlander hitch and wiring harness.
