This article http://www.auto123.com/en/info/news/...iew&artid=6700 indicates that the Canadian plant will be the first to produce the RX330 outside of Japan. At the end of the article, it says that production starts in Sept 2003....

A few of the other articles indicate the vehicle will be available in April 2003. I guess this means available at dealers to buy, order but delivery would be later????

Curious - if I order the vehicle in April, when would I get it? I am in Canada. I was wondering if the US would be getting the Japanese made vehicles or the Canadian made?

 

I believe the article (or another article) states that production will commence in Japan shortly, with the first vehicles in showrooms in April. The Cambridge Ontario plant re-tooling will be completed for production start-up in September. I am not sure if they will continue to produce vehicles in Japan once the Cambridge plant is up to full production.
