Ok, I just purchased a 2008 rx350 with 50k miles. When turning left or right and suspension is compressed (backin out of driveway when front wheel touches street and weight is transferred) there is a clunk sounds like top of suspension near dash or somewhere up high in front. Any thoughts?

 

Sounds very much like a bad strut up front or a problem up near the strut tower. Have it inspected. If true could be unsafe.

 

yep this is usually symptom of bad strut
