hi. i just got a very clean used rx330 with 96k miles. so far really enjoying the car. i noticed that right after shutting the engine off, i hear ticking noise from the engine area. is this normal for rx330?
i have a charger srt-8 that does the same, and it is normal for that vehicle.

it's most likely the metals and plastics in the engine shrinking as they cool. normal for most cars. in formula one racing, they have to preheat the engines using external heated water before engine can be started or it will blow up. metals have to expand to meet specs. but yes, ticking is normal.
