09 RX350 hidden tow hitch
#2
Not sure about the 2009, however, the hitch for the new model is different than past editions. Would assume there was a change made to the 3rd Generation, which starts with the 2010, undercarriage to allow for such that is not present in our 2nd Generation RX.
Direct from the Lexus web site:
The hitch is designed to mount behind the rear bumper so only the receiver tube is viewed, ensuring that ground clearance is not reduced. The hitch also works in conjunction with the aerodynamic underbody covers, which help reduce noise and improve fuel economy.

for an 09 the best you can find is factory toyot or lexus hitch. aftermarket all box the exhaust exhaust and are more visible aftermarket also shows you nice picture but it is not what you get read fine print on picture

You need an 2010 + rx for a hidden hitch
gustavao , there is no better for 09 , if you want a hidden hitch you need to get a different car, a newer RX 2010 and up ,. Do u really think all of us with 09 and older wanted a unhidden hitch, you take what is available and I don't foresee the aftermarket making a new designed hitch for a non current +3 yr old model. the factory one is the best you will find. You really don't see that much of it from 5 foot eye level only when you look at it from 2 ft above ground. Show me I'm wrong and beers on me.
