Is the part available? Only the mirror part of the door mirror? I don't want to but a new assembly and have it paint matched, blah blah blah......just want to get a new mirror (heated) and pop off old one and pop in new one.

Not a lot of popping in Lexusland. I couldn't find just a mirror but there are plenty of mirror assemblies available on eBay. Most likely you could find your same color, prices ranged from 150 to 225 or so.

 

just purchased the entire item on ebay, that is what I did for around $200

 

Same here... it just went 'yellow' in what seemed over a couple of days. Now its a **** off... my dad's been asking me to source one, but don't want one of those overlays that sits on top of the OEM glass without actually replacing the one underneath, and i'm not spending the 300$ they would run me shipped to canada...

 

01LexPL, we're in the same boat then. I'm in Hong Kong and shipping that over here would be insane...i'll try some junk yard here but English doesn't work well there...

I tried last time to source something from there and it was worse than pulling teeth. Hopefully someone will read this and then offer a suggestion other than the whole assembly. The whole assembly is quite expensive...all we need is the heated glass element....
