My daughter's 2004 RX330's dashboard center consol's electronics stopped working. No navigation, HVAC, radio, etc. It has 160,000 miles on it and has been properly maintained. Dealer said the module for the center console needs to be replaced. I am mechanically savy and have worked on many cars in the past, but none with this type of system. Seems to me that the problem could be a fuse or two. Any info or help would be greatly appreciated before I have to spend mega dollars at the dealer. Thanks.

 

Just for the heck of it, disconnect the battery for a while. You have nothing to loose any way, and sometimes this works for electrical gremlins.

 

Yeah, I thought about that and I am going to try that as well this weekend. I was just curious if anyone else has had the problem. Thank you for your response.
