Looking to purchase an 08 RX350 in the near future. I was hoping to get some guidance in what common issues that this model and year may have.

I have a 2007 model which is exactly the same as the 2008 RX. My vehicle has been trouble free except for a rear hatch rattle that was fixed by the dealership. You might want to do a search of the forum using the keyword 2008. It should turn up numerous questions or issues regarding that model. Keep in mind that people who post on forums generally have a problem or issue and are seeking advice. The vast majority of owners have no problems at all.

 

My wifes is an 08 also and so far the only problems have been the headlights fogging up and the passenger mirror wont tilt down anymore when put in reverse, headlight was replaced under warranty and the mirror motor is on order. Good luck on the search, took us almost 6 weeks to find the right one. Wicked car though!

 

Also an 08 53K miles no problems at all knock on wood. Serviced only at my local Toyota dealer.

no problems at all except the fogging light on driver side but not much so its not a bother
but i wonder if its still under warranty even tho i passed my 60k mile
