Had a flat at Logan on my previous car ('99 RX 300). When they tried to change flat, found the wheel nut was distorted and thus the key wouldn't work, so had to be towed. A very long nite..... Changed to keyless wheel nuts and never looked back.
I figured the concept is enough of a deterrent from the rare tire theft, anyway. Are hoods going to be searching for that RX with the keyless to steal the tires?

Wow that was pretty quick from Nancy. I actually have a set with 2 lug nuts missing, sent the pics and my cost will be $10.49 for each of the lug nuts. I am ordering it now.
I will have locks for the SC.
The RX will have no locks after I dump the 2 which are still installed. Will get Lexus to unscrew it and replace with regular lug nut when they do the recall on the floor mats.

Thanks for the tip.
I have purchased a used '02 LS with no key. Trying to figure out what to do.

If you feel OK about going sans locks, I would go to the dealer and have them remove the locks on each wheel and replace them with a standard wheel lug nut. They have universal tools for such situations. Not sure if a Toyota shop can do the same or if your local tire shop can help remove these.
You can have them "cut" off. However, that requires you to then replace the wheel lug stud as well as getting new lug nuts installed.
If you want a set of locks you might be best served by just buying a new set from the dealer, Sewell, or from your auto parts store to have installed once you get the current ones off. Check above posts for the AutoZone part number. Should be similar for your LS.

A Lexus mechanic brought home one of the 10 master keys for the McGard. My locks have been removed. No more locks. Was not able to update to let you guys know.

I could care less about the locks. They are the standard wheels for an '02 with some "character" on them.

My Toyota dealer also has the set of keys they use when no key is present, I saw them do it to mine when they said they couldn't find my key. My key was right where it has always been.
