Is that in reply to the post from diverchris regarding TorqueMaster?

NGK I consider stock.

No, in general. If you aren't modifying, I'd stick with the OEM plugs.

I just saw his post there. I use Torquemasters and they work well for me, but when I tried them with a practically stock RX300 in Mexico the first time around, no difference. It came to life once I had the intake/exhaust modifications in place. My cousin has a Golf VR6 and still has them and got some much better emissions test scores after using them, but again he has a modified intake exhaust and a host of other modifications in the engine.

I have seen the NGK iridium plugs from Pep Boys or Orielly auto parts $8.00 from the previous and 7$ from the next. I am considering taking on this job my self too, I have pretty skinny hands. The only problem I don't think I have a good bent socket wrench like the one in one of the pics. I have the short handled socket wrench though.

Stick with the iridium plugs, even at 125k miles they look new. The rears are a pain on the RX300, but I Have not attempted the RX400h yet....still have miles to go. I have removed the windshield cowl when I did the timing belt. not a bad job at all...Use blue masking tape on the windshield to mark the location of the wipers for reinstall. I still had to move wiper a notch even with that, but removing cowl gives you a lot more room and visabillity.

I know this is an old post, but it just confirmed that if we remove the wiper cowl on an RX 350 we can remove the passenger side bolt holding the intake on. I spent 14hrs on my back in the engine compartment removing the bolt. Don't ask.

Just did my timing belt and the plugs on the 330 and it is worth removing the cowl and the intake for the rear plugs' change. Trust me, I saw the whole process.
