Default How can you reset "maintenance req'd" notice

2009 RX350. I did my first oil and filter change, and rotated tires. But how do I reset the orange warning light on dashboard, "Maintenance Required."

I have nav system, and on the maintenance screen I thought when I reset date and mileage for next service it would also reset lights. Wrong. Any help out there? Thanks! Rick in Capitola

Welcome to the boards. First, you might want to search through Google, then perform a search on Club Lexus. Here's a few threads that might help...

I own an 06 RXh, so your instructions may be different, but I did manage to find my solution in the users manual.

Hope this helps.

Do read the owner's manual, it has vast amount of information about your car.

Ditto^^^

The manual will answer almost all of the inquiries you have...invest on reading it 2x.

For my 07 with the navi system here is how to do it. Be sure the odometer is not on the trip setting. Turn off the car, then hold the button that changes odometer settings while you turn the iginition to the on position. Keep holding the button and eventually the odometer will show all zeros. Viola, you are done!

It would be helpful if the moderators posted this topic as a "sticky". The question must get asked as least very month.
