I wanted to introduce myself as the proud owner of a 2007 RX 350. We got it at Carmax and love it so far.

Can someone tell me how to find out if it has XM/Sirius radio? It is pretty much fully loaded with Nav and Rear DVD, but I hit the AM/SAT button and don't get anything but AM. I thought even without a subscription, you would still get a trial channel or something. Also, how can I tell if I have the Mark Levinson audio? I'm guessing I don't but would like to know for sure.

I have already learned a few things in an hour of browsing this forum and hope to learn and contribute a lot more!

I'm going to take a stab at this one as I too have an 07 with the NAV. I do not think that Satellite radio was an option for 07, even though there is a button for it. There were some issues with getting it to work correctly, as I recall, so they chose not to have it installed.
As for the Mark Levinson system. You would see it clearly labeled on the face of the head unit. If it's not, then you have the Lexus premium sound system. I was bummed when I found out that I don't have it on mine.

I too recently bought a 2007...ask the dealer that same thing "how do i get sat?" They said you could take it to the dealership and they install a piece in the car for you ..runs about $700!!! That is too steep for my budget. I was also bummed that there was no IPOD hook up. So instead of the $700 I sprang $20.00 for a gadget that plugs into my lighter and plays my IPOD through the speakers via an FM radio station.

I've only had my car 4 days and I love it...got a chance to use the "rain sensor wipers" tonight...very cool.

The 1st time I told the wife how to use it...she goes...oh yeah? I said, yeah! Now the wiper is permanently on AUTO!

She loves that thing move when it starts raining and stops when the drops stop!

 

That's awesome! Mine couldn't believe that the rear door opens with the touch of a button.. She is now the envy at the grocery store parking lot!!

 

Just bought one for my mom last night... can't wait till I check out all the neat features!
