Thanks for the reply G Man. I never asked about the status of the brake pads when I bought the car, nor do I know how to judge it for myself. My wife is a new driver and heavy on the brakes, so I suppose that could explain it. I was just surprised because I assumed that the dealer would have certified the car with a good amount of pad on it and I can't believe that she could wear them down that much in one year. Thats a expensive oil change, tire rotation and car wash. Beside checking this and that, do they actually change any other fluid beside the engine oil?
