Hello, I'm an IS300 owner and I'm just curious if any of you have taken your LED rear bulbs out before - are they just wedge-type plug ins? Thanks a lot

 

LED stop lights for the RX330's are not simple bulb type, it is more of a circuit board type. Not easy replacements. I had mine busted (meaning my stop lights were not functioning 100%) and dealer replaced the entire tail.

 

My wife used to have an E320 with LED stop light in the deck lid. A section of the leds burned out and they replace the lamp assembly. I don't think they service the LEDs individually. I guess they are supposed to last a lot longer than traditional bulbs, but that's cold comfort when your go out and you have to buy a new tail lamp assembly!

You can convert into LED, but requires more work.
