Default 2005 rx330, PLEASE check TPMS

I just called Lexus customer service about the TPMS problem in my rx330. they will call me back in 2 business days. the car been at the dealer a week and they still dont know why the TPMS warning light never came on even when pressures are low. dealer told me the computer says it's working fine but cant make the light came on even when we lower the pressure on one of the tires.
here is my other thread..https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=275096
if you guys have the same model i have, could you please lower one of your tires to 15psi and see if the light come on? that way i know to let Lexus know that everyone is working but mine. I would appreciate your help. thank you

The 05 is a indirect system right, that means you ahve to lower the pressure and drive around in it for the light to activiate.

Yes, it wasn't until the RX350 when it used an active or direct TPMS. The RX330 uses the wheel sensors to monitor difference in rotational speed.

Anyway, I never answered this topic before because I sold my RX and so am not able to perform a test. However, thinking back, I do remember pumping up my front tire because of a slow leak and my wife telling me the low tire pressure warning came on in our 04 RX. So, I do know for a fact that it does work. I think I had about 20 PSI or less in the tire.

I lowered one of the tires down to 10psi, drove for 55mph, and the light did not even turn on.

You are reseting the system as described in the owners manual right? Something to do with those two buttons under the steering colum lower dash trim, where the knee air bag is.

I don't have the owner manual with me right now. My car is at the dealer, however I got an 05 RX 330 loaner car. Can somebody give me clear instructions on how to reset the tmps so I can test it on my loaner? Thanks
