My rear seat is squeaking
Now i usually sit in the front seat, but today, my wife was driving and i just needed a lift. I was sitting in the seat behind the drivers seat, and i heard the middle headrest/seat area squeaking. It was very unpleasant. Its weird that i never heard this before. It could be because i never sat in the back, or it could be because i just conidtioned the leather and its a bit slippery.
Anyone else experience this? does this constitute as a rattle noise? just wanted to know if this was a common thing.
p.s. to anyone who remembers, i got my tires replaced with the Michelins, and no more vibrating steering wheel.

Try to decipher the squeeling.
Is it leather to leather rubbing sound? If so use a leather conditioner/hide-food.
Is it metal to metal (hinge mechanism). Use lithium based grease VERY sparingly. Wipe excess off as it can ruin your clothes. Other product like WD40 works but they end up removing the grease. Just be careful as you dont want to stain the leather or your clothes.

i had an annoying sound like you describe. sounded like leather on leather, but it turned out it was the plastic on leather where the 60/40 seat split is. i took some adhesive felt and applied it to the plastic area and now there is no more squeak.
i think mine was probably caused by detailing, not sure. but the felt did the trick, the car is silent again.
