I remember way back one modification to the RX300 was to install an antenna from an MDX.

 

Tell me about this....MDX to the RX300? I used an S2000 antenna for my 3.5 Gen Camry, a few years back!

Ok, got it! The antenna is identical to the S2000. Looks like they used the same antenna between teh S2000 and the MDX. Makes sense.

 

I think the guy with the dental tools complicated things.....I actually found that pulling back and slightly twisting from side to side popped the cover right off.I then proceeded to install cross bars from my wife's 2007 Rav-4 Sport!Ya I know,I'm cheap but it's a perfect fit!Buy the way, to remove the rear cover on the Rav rack, simply required carefully prying up on the back of the cover with a wide blade(I used a small crow bar)be sure to protect the paint where you pry with a towel.
