2007 RX350 - Check Air Conditioner
FYI
I have posted before and seen other post on an intermittent issue where you get a Check Air Conditioner message when starting an RX350. Turning off the A/C and then back on seems to fix it. I took my RX350 in for its first service and told them about the A/C problem. They confirmed there is a known issue and they ordered a $400 part (under warranty) to fix the problem. They should have it in and installed next week. |
Yes, they just issued a TSIB for this problem.

Is anyone having "odor" issues with their AC? Mine seems to have a musty smell when it is first turned on. Have reported it to the dealership and they sprayed some stuff, but it doesn't seem to work. I'd hate to have one of "those cars" without fresh AC (or fresh air)
Anyone else? |

It is a good idea to run the air conditioner for five or ten minutes every month.
This keeps the compressor seals flexible and the expansion valve operating smoothly. |
