As was described to me by the dealer there is no way to have a roof rack on the panoramic roof. The panels do not slide back in like the regular moon roof, they "accordian stack". The rear panel angles up and back, the second panel then retracts and angles up to line up to the rear most panel and then finally the front panel retracts back and angles up to mate with the other two. The two rear panels are not stationary as some might think. My understanding is the front panel does have a tilt function like the regular moon roof, but am not sure. I think the additional light that it allows into the cabin would be nice but at the same time I would think you wouldn't want it in the southern parts of our country during the summer time.
