Default RX350 HID Bulb

Hi everyone,

I like to replace my HID Bulb to a bit higher temperature like 5000K. Do any of you know where to buy, and what brand?

Another question what is the current temperature on the Factory HID? it looks more like too yellowish.

Thanks,

The current ones are rated at 4300...

As for the brand, search on the board, I think there are a few threads that have HID's or something.
Maybe replacing the wedge bulb would help achieve the bluer color

Color has nothing to do with quality.. OEM quality is great and probably made by Koito or other high quality maker. Cheap aftermarket is probably low quality.

Our HID lights are very blue. Almost as blue as my (former) Audi (which was extreme blue). I have not seen any literature that suggests that packages offer different color temps for the HID's. I could be wrong but I have read a ton of data.

Default still no luck

still no luck getting 5100K bulb. None of these company stated they have the bulb for RX350 only RX330. Are RX330 and RX350 suppose to be the same? I was scratching my head when
two of the vendor stated they do not carry RX350 bulb, yet, only RX330. I didn't want to take a chance ordering RX330 bulb. I guess I have to wait.

Are you specifically looking for 5100? or the right bulbs for the RX 350

I believe they are the same bulbs; they're both D2S..

Today, I got the Phillips 5000K D2S bulb, the question how do you remove the right plastic cover? Any one try before?

Thank you
