I have a RX330 2006 Model with Nav and bluetooth pkg.
When I am moving and press the handset button on steering wheel. It takes me to the one-touch dial screen. But the numbers are blanked out. I do not why. But more interesting, I can select and the number gets dialed out.

I do not know if this a bug or feature.

Does anybody witness this before.

The numbers are blanked out for Lexus' legal reasons and to discourage phone dialing while driving. If you do a Google search for "Zube's wire cutting fix " you should find a reference to a poster named zube, who has done a wire cutting mod to several different Lexus vehicles to restore the one-touch numbers and the phone keypad. However, he has not done this mod on a 2006 RX330.

 

Yes, our 2006 RX400h is the same way ..... the One-Touch numbers are dimmed when the car is moving, but you can still select them and the numbers will dial fine.
