hi gys,i have rx330 04,it has the laser cruise control,it hesitates alot with the cruise on,do you think that the new version of the transmission will work on it better,i have my car now in the service,i drove rx400h,the trany is much smoother but it has no laser cruise so i cannot tell how the trany performs with laser cruise control.if any body had or heard about this please tell me so i can speak to the service dept. When they modified the software for the transmission, they made a couple of changes specifically for the laser cruise. I don't know what they are, but the dealer needs to take an extra step to update the transmission software. They also have to update software in another computer with a 2005 version. That second update will apply a fix for the laser cruise, but it will also make the main computer generate diagnostic codes based on the 2005 model year. If there is ever a problem in the future, you should use information for 2005 to troubleshoot the codes.
