NAV Override
Look what someone posted in the IS forum...tried it on my wife's 06 RX...it works there too...haven't road tested it yet, but I did get to the service menu following the instructions. This should allow for the "passenger" to input driving destinations while the vehicle is in motion.

Press Volume
Press the Top Left Corner
Press the Bottom Left Corner (there is nothing there)
Press the Top Left Corner
Press the Bottom Left Corner
A new menu screen will come up
Press and hold Override for 5 seconds or until you hear a beep.
I tried that too. Works fine but needs this manipulation every time you start
the car. I wish there was less of the legal crap and more of controllable
functionality.
