Mats for rx
I just don't think you can go wrong with these imho -- http://www.irontoad.com/Merchant2/me...Store_Code=LSC
I am a bit confused regarding these Mats? Overall are there downsides to either the Sewell or Weathertech or is the consensus that they are pretty much the same?
I was leaning more towards the Sewell mats (in the brown). Unfortunately the site only shows them in the black tone. My '04 is the light sand beige metallic tone (with cream/taupe coloured leather).
Many thanks in advance,
Brian

Thanks for the replies. Since I have to go to the dealer (Monday) anyhow to check on the status of my car (in terms of the 4yr/80,000km warranty) I will check out the factory ones.
Given I am in Canada, the shipping (for a set of 4 mats) and time delays may be motivation enough to simply purchase them from the dealer (the $120).
Thanks again,
Brian.

Hi mandyfig (thought I would respond re: the mats here in the right thread)!
Yes, I went to the dealer today, and picked up the winter mats (4 black). Price with tax was just over $120 (Canuck dollars). I will likely get the cargo mat as well (later on). I also had the spare key re-programmed (it didn't work). That was $60 for about 1/2 hour.
I have to say the service is much nicer than Infiniti's (in terms of amenities). A Lexus lounge (with all the computers, TV, espresso maker). Never had that with my wife's Infiniti. With Infiniti they stick you in the same lines/area as the Nissan folks and no lounge. Only benefit (that I have seen) is that they give you a loaner (when your car is under warranty). Of course, that is when their service adviser's don't conveniently forget that you booked a service (as happened the last time).
Wondering if I should have purchased her an ES-350. I looked at one (on my way to the lounge). About $15K cheaper than what I paid for the Infiniti.
Cheers,
Brian.
