Hi,

Has anyone experienced a problem with the multi-display panel on an RX300? The display on my 2001 goes out intermittently. It seems to be getting worse. The audio system does not work when the display goes out. The heating/cooling system still works but no information is displayed.

The display panel and setup from an '01 RX300 to an '04 RX 330 changed dramatically. Did you mean to ask about others experiencing problems with their RX 300?

 

My mistake. It is and RX300, 2001 model.

I have had the display (99 RX300) go out on me a few times ... less than 5 times in life of ownership. It always comes back if I turn off ignition and then later trun it back on. [aka system re-boot].

If happens more frequently than once a month, I would start by cheking simple things like loose battery conector, failing battery, fuse not seated properly etc. Else time to visit the dealership.

Check for loose/corroded battery connection. Your battery may be on its way out. Take it to a shop to do a battery load test.

 

Change your battery.
