Unhappy 04 RX330 - Need help with Nav DVD

So my nav DVD is no longer working (when I turn on the car it says to check the DVD data). I am trying to find the DVD compartment to get in there and eject and reinsert the disc to see if that helps (we were skiing in Mammoth last week and the car was getting jostled around in all that snow! - I'm thinking maybe the disc got bumped around)

I've searched this forum and people have mentioned its in the cargo area, but I still can't find it!

Anyone know how to access the navigation compartment in an 04 RX330 AWD? IN particular, how to remove the DVD and put it back in.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I have not found it, but its in the back cargo area in the right rear corner under one of the doors back there?

I would run it by a Lexus dealer--they should be able to do it for ya in a second or 2! Provided you live close to one....

Right rear, under the tool compartment. Either clips or retainers holding a cover or 2 in place over it.

Thanks Traturn! just got in the back and found that little compartment, ejected, re-inserted, and Voila! Navigation back on and running. (I wish I had posted this earlier, the nav would have been really handy on the 400 mi trek back from Mammoth last weekend)

Thanks alot for your help - I would never have guessed it was hidden behind that non-labeled gray panel. (I'm used to the panels in the GS and SC that actually say "GPS Navigation") go figure.
