I personally can't imagine anyone wanting this. Driving is a lot more entertaining to me than watching some television, even movies.

IMHO, it's easier to just buy a portable DVD player. The LCD screen resolution is set for the PAL (Japan) format, so it'll look a bit fuzzy in NTSC (U.S.) format even if one manages to retrofit the system and feed the DVD signal.
